My friend has a credit card that she is behind on paying because the company wouldn’t work with her when she lost her job. She is going through a Debt Relief service to make monthly payments on her card. The credit card company is now suing her. If she is making payments through the debt relief service, can they still legally sue her, and what can she do to get the lawsuit dropped?

Many developing nations in debt have to cut spending in things which would in a sense cause development in order to pay of debts to super rich American organizations like the IMF and World Bank. Funny thing those organizations claim to be trying to end poverty.

Some nations even pay us more than the aid we give their whole continent
For example Nigeria alone paid the UK £1,700,000,000 in 2005 in debt repayments while the UK gave the whole of Africa £1,000,000,000 in aid and im guessing other countries in Africa were paying the UK also.
In total Nigeria paid the G7 nations $12,400,000,000 or £7,200,000,000 in debt repayments
The G7 received more in 6 months from Nigeria than the 2005 Gleneagles G8 deal will provide to all poor countries in a decade.

We all hear about the aid we give to these poor nations yet forget they pay us back, even more sometimes in debt repayments. It started from corrupt leaders doings in the past who spent it on indirectly destroying their own country and would later cause debt with interest. Only recently as in the last 3 years has talks and actions towards starting debt relief started.

So why do people still give to charity? All you are doing is making a dependent society in my eyes.
Forget giving them aid just clean the debt they owe first world nations and their companies then leave them alone to develop. A country as rich as the USA should not be collecting debt from the poorest nations in the world then encouraging its public to give to charity.
I never said Aid is a Loan can you read my question properly.
In brief im saying why do we give aid to countries which pay us back in debt repayments more than the aid they receive? Why not cancel the debt, let them develop while and not give them aid.

My name is Mau Tran. I lived in Viet Nam for sixteen years until i came to the USA. The road that takes me to the pharmacy career begins in Viet Nam. My country is a poor country. Western’s medicines are still something new to the people where i live. The pharmacy there is poorly organized and the pharmacists there are unprofessional because they were not trained well. The pharamcists in my country make mistake often. So in my mind at that time, i make it clear that i will study hard to become a good pharmacist so i help sick people and improve the pharmacy. That determination of mine is still firm after i came to the USA. Here, in the USA, i saw that the pharmacists are so well trained. They are professionals and they help a lot for the society. I am happy that i pick the right decision. I will become a pharmacist so one day, i , like my pharmacist boss in walgreen, can help sick patients. Also, knowing about medicine can save people in a way or two. That is when there is a person suddenly feel sick on the street and i am with him, i can save him or at least, endure his life while we are waiting for the ambulance. Also, i am a science guy. I really love Chemistry and Biology. The pharmacist career will provide me a lot of science knowledge.
Seeing a smile or a relief on people’s face makes me happy. I do not know why but when i make other people happy, i feel like i have done something incredible. Even though what i’ve done is small like playing a piano song for the patients in hospital. A pharmacist need to be friendly with other people around him/her. Not only being friendly but also show the patient that he or she cares for that patient. That is why i choose to become a pharmacist because friendliness and care are my traites. I believe that i will become a great pharmacist, because the successful person is the one who believe in thyself and never give up.

The USA is being infiltrated by illegals, sold to foreign powers and abandoned by its government. But are Americans enabling the dissolution of our economy and country as well by continuing to buy foreign goods?

America is literally being sold out from underneath Americans. According to the 2008 Economic Report of the President, “The United States is both the single leading recipient and leading source of foreign direct investment in the world. In 2006, total cumulative (foreign direct investment) in the United States was almost $1.8 trillion, 15 percent of the world total.” In 2006, foreign-owned assets in the U.S. totaled roughly $16 trillion dollars.

It’s time to realize we’re all together in this boat called America, and she is sinking. Government is not our salvation. Our hope is not in Congress or even a political-messianic deliverance through the presidency. The only economic stimulus plan they should be preparing is the one that rewards manufacturers and consumers who promote and purchase American-made products and services. Our government doesn’t need to dole out more bailouts, and drown us deeper in debt. We don’t need more bad trade agreements like NAFTA or to provide tax relief incentives for corporations that are outsourcing. We need fair trade, not free trade. And we need a Fair Tax, not a flowering system of taxes

Sometimes life feels that way. You feel like it’s you against the world. I’m sure that’s the way America’s founders felt. And I know it’s the way true patriots feel today. There are hundreds of reasons why people don’t believe we can turn America around, but we have to try – to keep fighting. Our country has been invaded and is being overtaken.
