Bush, McCain and the republicans controlled all branches of government for 6 years leading to record spending, deficits and debt along with massive job loss and the loss of thousands of lives and a trillion dollars in the unwise Iraq war.

McCain voted 95% with Bush and supports his failed economic policies and Iraq war.

McCain offers less than 1/3 of the tax relief Obama offers Americans making under $100,000 while spending over a trillion more dollars for tax cuts primarily to the rich and corporations. McCain offers less tax relief to small businesses. (See Brookings Institute or Tax Policy Center analysis)

Obama offers comprehensive health care reform that covers all Americans, lowers costs and increases protection and reduces to burden on businesses. McCain offers a tax break that covers a small percentage of the cost, increases costs and reduces protections, increases the burden on businesses and doesn’t cover Americans with existing illnesses.

Honestly, I think people are stupid in general. Stupid enough to choose Obama as the primary. They all say, “I WANT CHANGE!” Give me a break. Higher Taxes, Expensive Gas, Creating Alliances with terrorists, and becoming ****** commi’s is not my idea of positive change.

Republicans KNOW most Americans are stupid. Mainly because they are. Most don’t know how the government or economics work.

“Comprehensive Healthcare that covers all Americans”? You do realize how much that will cost, right? And you’re going on about deficits? All of Obama’s plans just take money from the rich part of the population, and give that money to the poor. Thats called Communism. Yes, Robin Hood was a communist. So are most democrats, though they havent made the connection yet.

All democrats want is for the government to give them free money and do no work themselves. Again, thats called Communism.

Republicans, on the other hand, reward people who actually WORK and produce for society. People that go to college and get paid hundreds of thousands a year are rewarded. They are doing good for society. What good does some lady on welfare do for society, just by living of welfare check and not seeking a long term, well paying job? They are doing no good for society.

While I dont agree with Republicans on everything, the economy, taxs and such I completely side with them on. Communism won’t work in the end… people would just become lazy and unproductive, and the society would collapse…

I love how everyone assumes that all the bad that has happened the last 8 years wouldnt have happened at all if someone else were president.

9/11 would have happened.
Saddam Hussein would have had to be dealt with.
Gas prices would still be high.

The fact that we are not in a depression and we have NOt been attacked again speaks good to Bush’s policies. No failures here. Stop letting the news media make up your mind for you.

Socialism always looks good until you are standing in the bread line. Personally, I want the government out of my wallet, my womb and my gunsafe. I will pay for my own healthcare and I am dubious of any Obama claims of helping my tax burden. Of course he can rail against tax cuts for the rich, when he thinks anyone making more than 30k a year is upper class. Obama’s policies will only help the bottom 10% of America, and he and the dumbocrats are only doing that to assuage their liberal guilt at being rich themsleves. Used to be if you got rich in America, you were a smart, hard working go-getter. Now, the dems want to make you a criminal for it. Not to mention their “take it in the shorts” foreign policy. No thank you sir.

WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO.

This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation.

IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation?

So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

No they are not stupid, just misinformed. Getting info from the media, this site, so many biased opinions, so much spin. Forget that and check their records, you are correct about Mccain s 95% voting with Bush and company. We as americans (the majority) should not support the republicans agenda to make the top 5 to 10% richer while taking from the middle and lower classes. No on in these classes can say they are better off today than they were when Bill Clinton was in office. No one????
