i would advertise in local bridal magazines.

if that is all you have to offer in the way of rentals you will probably not be able to get very far with them since most brides or couples or people who are doing some kind of event are looking to rent their chairs and tables and other items from the same place.

if you do have other items for rent besides the chairs, then i would contact your local wedding vendors and advise them of what you have available and ask them to refer you some business. you can mail out your business card to various local wedding vendors and other wedding professionals and ask for referal business. that normally works by offering to give them a percentage if they refer customers to you who book with you.

if you just want to sell them and get out from under the debt, then contact one of the vendors in your area that rents out tables and chairs and ask them to offer you a price for them. you might also try contacting a venue like a banquet hall or hotel to see if they are interested. you can also post them on ebay but if i were you, i would expect to have to absorb some loss if you are going to sell them.

here are two sites where you can find lots of companies who rent party things in dayton and wedding venues and halls in dayton.

The reason you are not getting business is you are charging $7 per chair to rent for a day

For my wedding we need 130 chairs and I’ll be damned if I spend $910+set up and take down and tax for chairs

Rental places around daytons and cincinnati (that’s where I live) typically charge $3-$4 per chair

The chairs are beautiful but I stil woudl not spend $7 on them

Put ads in local newspapers, go to florist shops that rent out wedding equipment, bridal shopskow of someone who is into catering, etc. or someone who knows is just starting out. They may be able to help you.
