THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE IS: DON'T SPEND!, and if you have to spend, maximize that dollar to go as far as it can by shopping wisely. Surprisingly, there is much you can access/control/have for keeps just by asking and not spending. Trade an outfit with a friend. You each have something new to wear and no $ changes hands. Learn to repair/update stuff. For example, I used to shop in Walmart but look for the quality in details such as craftmanship, then update the piece with affordable pretty buttons, glitter etc to create a one-of-a-kind, affordable, quality piece. That way the outfit LOOKS like it cost way more than it did. When you do spend, ideally use that $ to invest in something that does not eventually get flushed, tossed, or ****** up in smoke. For example, buy Burger King with that $ and it will get flushed later. But if you buy ingredients for a cake and sell the slices... Now do you see where I am going with this? Invest in an activity that can become an income earner. Babysit, walk the dog, bake and sell cookies. Earn, Save, Spend oh so little. Earn some more, save some more, and so on. Good luck!
